When Penilee Community Centre opened in 1975, they established what became the annual Penilee Gala Day.
As is customary a Gala Queen and Attendants were appointed. These Photographs were taken during the Gala Day on 18th June 1977. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the Queen or why the Attendants have tiaras with 76 on them, maybe someone can let me know using the contact link above.
