During the 1970s I used to follow a number of local bands in Glasgow and one of my favourites was "Sneaky Pete". They could be found most weekends performing somewhere in the city and were regulars at "Saints and Sinners" or the "Dial Inn" where I saw them many times. They produced a single in 1979 titled "Night-time in The City" which I still have. Their music was like a heavier Average White Band kind of style that was very popular.
In 1978 they played two gigs in the open air, from where these pictures were taken. The first was in May at the Kelvingrove Park Bandstand and then in the August of the same year at the Broomielaw Bandstand.
