"Mother Glasgow" is a compilation of photographs of Glasgow, taken between the mid 1970s and late 80s. They come from my own collection of black and white film negatives and the book contains 50 images. The subject matter is in two sections, firstly covering general street photography around the city showing the people and places as they were at the time and secondly concentrating on The Barras.
It is in A5 portrait format and can be obtained at a price of £8 inc. p&p for UK addresses, other postal destinations on application.
"AcumfaeGovan" builds on my previous work "Mother Glasgow" but with a single focus on Govan in the 1970s and 80s. It contains 34 B&W photographs taken in various locations around Govan including many that are no longer there. The destruction of the tenements and the community to some extent changed Govan forever, but memories linger on.
It is in A5 landscape format and can be obtained at a price of £8 inc. p&p for UK addresses, other postal destinations on application.
"The Glasgow Celtic Way" is a collection of black and white photographs from my archive, taken whilst following Glasgow Celtic FC in the 1970s and 80s. It includes images taken on the pitch at Jock Stein's Testimonial, action shots from six different matches and a section on the fans. It has been professionally printed in A5 portrait format.
It can be obtained at a price of £9 inc. p&p for UK addresses, other postal destinations on application.
"BREXIT...one day in Westminster", is a quality, full colour 48 page book that takes a humorous non-political look at the colours and characters of Brexit. The photographs were taken on the 29th March 2019, the day before Theresa May hoped to get her deal agreed. All around Westminster there were characters campaigning for the pro/anti Brexit lobby of course, but there were also many other people championing all sorts of causes in the hope they would get media coverage. The resulting photographs gathered in this zine are a good souvenir and document of a time when the UK was in turmoil.
It is in full colour A5 landscape format and can be obtained at a price of £9 including p&p for UK addresses, other postal destinations on application.
