“Watch The Birdie - When the Stars Golfed at Renfrew”

Created by local film-maker, Paul Russell, the film, Watch The Birdie, captures the excitement of locals as they watched the golf tournament – in aid of the Variety Club of Great Britain – held in August 1977. I had been invited along to take photographs of the event and this film captures the story. The film Premiered on YouTube in September 2020.
