The 16th May 1987 will forever be remembered by all St. Mirren supporters as the day that they won the Scottish Cup.After the game some 5,000 St. Mirren fans descended on the grounds of Paisley Abbey to welcome home their heroes with the cup, the first time they had done so since 1959
