If you disagree with me then fine, I’d love to hear your comments, I don’t see the context of the left hand side shot and the quality looks a bit dubious. The one on the right is some indigenous people standing in front of a plane (albeit Air Force 1). What am I missing?
The other thing that was going through my mind was video photography. My camera (Fuji X-T3) apparently has great video capabilities, as did my Nikon D750 before that. Why then have I never made use of these features? I would love to be competent in videography but I never seem to have the time to do anything about it, which suggests to me that my heart is not in it. I see newer cameras coming on to the market with even better video capabilities all the time. Given the price of camera bodies today, why do I have to pay for a major feature that I do not need? Will a mainstream manufacturer ever bring out a digital camera model that is stills photography only?. They all seem to assume we need video in our cameras and give us it whether we want it or not. I see Sony have recently brought out a camera that specialises in Vlogging capabilities, will it be the first of a new trend? Maybe I am looking at this from the wrong end and I should be trying video, and maybe I will some day, but if Fuji brought out a stills only X-series camera I would buy it.
