On October 29th 2022, an event was organised in central London to protest against government cuts and the levels of support that women in the UK get to support and educate their children. The march started in Trafalgar Square, proceeded down Whitehall and on to the Parliament Green where a rally was held. Although predominantly women and children of all ages, there was also a healthy contingent of men providing support. There were a few thousand demonstrators and whilst very noisy, were good humoured and friendly.
